Episode 164. 10 minute Tuesday - Sexual Abuse

sexual-abuse

The statistics are that at least 1 in 3 women world wide have experienced some kind of sexual violence against them and 1 in 6 men.

That is a massive percentage of the global population and it is highly likely that the numbers are even higher given how hard it is for people to tell someone else about their experience. This means that if you have not directly been abused, you know someone who has suffered in this way.

On a recent Tim Ferris podcast episode where he shared his own experience of sexual abuse, it seems that the only option for people who are desperate to overcome the impact being abused is 30+ years of intense therapy or taking psychedelic drugs. I am absolutely convinced there is a better way.

This episode is about exploring the impact of sexual abuse on how a person feels about themselves and what can be done to change this.
